Welcome to Little Punkins
I'm Donna, the reborn artist behind Little Punkins. I started reborning in 2008 and love it! I began collecting dolls many years ago with my childhood Barbies. There is not a room in my home that doesn't have a doll of some sort in it. I suppose the love of dolls and painting came from my mother as she also collected her beloved dolls and was an accomplished, award winning artist. I was amazed when I stumbled across 'reborn babies'. Wow!
A dream come true, I was instantly in love and intrigued! An art form that combines my love of dolls and painting. I feel blessed to have the talent and ability to create these wonderful Little Punkins. And I thank the Lord for each day He gives me and the joy I receive from reborning!
Reborning is an ongoing learning experience with the hopes and goals each baby reborned is better than the last. Every baby reborned is a learning experience. I am always trying something new and different. Each baby is unique and different from any other, no two can ever be exactly the same. With reborn friends from around the world, new techniques are always being tried and improvements made. I love attending workshops with well known talented ladies, sharing our love and knowledge of this art form. This art full fills my love of painting and dolls and I strive for improvement with each baby!
Little Punkins attended this years Down East Show - June 21 & 22 - at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel & Convention Center in Durham, NC. If you came to the show and visited my booth, thank you!
